The Inn at Castle Hill

(2014)  Fourteen years after the “Brown Cottage” on the Crane Estate in Ipswich was converted to The Inn at Castle Hill, a ten-room, coastal B&B operated by The Trustees of Reservations, the organization looked to the C&M interior design team to provide a fresh, cohesive new approach to the guest rooms and overall interior design.  Working with a non-profit organization required creative design as well as creative budgeting, and these ideas were paramount throughout the project.  The designers recycled existing furnishings and art, pulled significant new additions from the Trustees’ archives in Western Mass, and chose timeless pieces that will provide lasting value to the Inn.

Our designers are passionate about supporting the protection of our natural and cultural resources.  If you would also like to contribute to the good work of The Trustees of Reservations and experience some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in New England, plan a stay with The Inn At Castle Hill.
