Interior / Architectural Designer

Looking for an Interior / Architectural Designer, Residential Interior Specialist for a full-time position with an award-winning, integrated architecture and construction firm. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working in the residential architecture or design industry and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus of the position includes the preparation of architectural design drawings, construction documents and details for multiple, concurrent, high profile projects. The position will also assist staff architects in project related administration and coordinating with the in-house construction and woodworking departments to ensure quality production and ultimately, client satisfaction.

Candidates must be comfortable with ArchiCAD software and have a strong foundation in residential interior detailing. Experience with kitchen and bath design is also highly desirable. The role will offer the ability to work on some exceptional projects with a truly talented team of in-house builders, architects, interior designers, cabinetmakers and more.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and bonus structure, plus PTO, health and retirement benefit options.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 Years of experience at an architecture or interior design firm, or related position
  • Skilled ArchiCAD user
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, flexible and team-oriented demeanor
  • Tech Savvy – PC and mobile platforms, plus Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe (a plus)
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Passion for architecture, construction and the care of finely crafted homes

Desired Skills

  • Experience with interior detailing, including millwork and cabinetry

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture/architectural design/interior architecture, or related field
