
Joanne Powell, AIA, LEED AP
Project Architect - Wellesley
Joanne Powell joined Carpenter & MacNeille in 2022 as a Project Architect. She has been working in high-end residential design since 2008 and is always on the lookout for opportunities to indulge her affinity for historically-inspired designs. She is committed to sustainable design and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2008.
Joanne is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA), and holds an NCARB certificate. She earned a Master of Architecture from Rensselaer, and a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College in Mathematics and English Literature including immersive architecture and literature programs in Rome, St. Petersburg, and Portugal.
Joanne has been involved with the Fairbanks House Museum in Dedham since 1998, including 12 years on the Board of Directors. She presented an architectural tour of the Christian Hill neighborhood for the Norwood Historical Society and spends her weekends encouraging her family to restore their 140-year-old home.
