Michael Gray is a Partner and Managing Director. Mike joined the company in 2006 and has more than 30 years of experience in the field, including new custom residential design and construction, historic preservation, residential restoration, and renovation and green building. Named Managing Director in 2014, Mike joined founding partner and principal owner, Rob MacNeille, as partner in 2020. Leading the senior management team, Mike directs an award-winning team of architects and builders and serves as primary contact for new design opportunities for the firm. He has been the Lead Architect on signature C&M projects, including Oakledge, winner of the 2019 NEICAA Bulfinch Award, the Chrysalis Award winning Chubb’s Hill, and, more recently, Three Cedars, a striking contemporary home featured in Boston Home magazine. His work has been featured in This Old House, North Shore Home, Boston Home, and Ocean Home magazines.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Salem State University. He is a licensed architect in MA, ME NH, RI, CT, NY, and NJ, and a member of the AIA, BSA & NCARB. He is Past President of the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club and serves on the board of the New England chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
