For long-time Andover residents, this new home was conceived after the original much-loved structure proved unsalvageable during renovation. Honoring the spirit of the previous house, the new design reinterprets classic New England architecture with refined detailing – modillion eaves, a columned portico, and drop siding – balancing traditional proportions with a modern sensibility.

Inside, traditional millwork and paneled detailing are paired with clean-lined finishes and refined modern elements, including black steel doors between the living and dining rooms, a deep-blue paneled bar, and an expansive, “transitional” kitchen design. A three-story open stair brings natural light through the center of the home, connecting elegant gathering spaces with private family areas above and a generous recreation level below.
