A multi-phase renovation of this Nantucket retreat is now complete. Sleek contemporary interior spaces were renovated with classic, clean architectural details using time-honored techniques and traditional materials. The first phase of work featured a new custom mahogany bunkroom with an adjacent bath, an updated library “movie room,” a first-floor powder room, and the addition of a rear porch overlooking a perennial border garden. Later phases include extensive renovations to the primary suite, the guest room, living room, kitchen, and bar, a freshening up of overall interior finishes, and a new pool, pool house, and landscaping. C&M received a 2018 Bulfinch award for the craftsmanship and artisanship of the home’s custom bunkroom.
